Rounding Logistics

Saving physician time, increasing physician satisfaction and improving patient care quality...

In today's environment, physicians spend a great deal of time trying to locate patients.  They often lack the most up-to-date discharge status of their patients and may not have information needed to contact their nursing care providers for additional updates.  The time that physicians have to spend getting this information can be frustrating and consumes time that could be better spent on direct patient care.

Care Logistics' Rounding Logistics will enable physicians to access logistical and patient status information anytime, anywhere they choose.  This will save a physician time by giving them real-time access to information regarding the location of their patients and where the patients are in their clinical journey towards discharge via the following features:

Instant, customized Rounding List

Physicians will have fast and easy access to a patient's current location, anticipated patient discharge date, patient discharge status, nurse contact information as well as other vital patient information anywhere they have internet access.  The rounding list can be customized through sorting and filtering and can be printed to a hard copy for the physician to use during patient discharge rounds.  Physicians will now have the tools to make better informed decisions on rounding order and priority.

Follow Patients of Interest

Referring physicians, residents, and physicians who are covering for their colleagues can easily search for patients and choose to "follow" them as a part of their custom rounding list.  These patients will remain on the rounding list until the physician removes the patient or the patient is discharged.

Configurable Alerts

Physicians will be provided the ability to receive updates on their patients' discharge status or time until discharge via various devices (smart phone, email, etc).
