From the initial discovery meeting to post implementation support, Care Logistics works closely with your project team to ensure the ongoing success of your transformation initiative. Then we provide recommendations on how to improve hospital patient flow performance using the Care Logistics Logistical Control System™ for patient movement.

Our team comprises clinicians and engineers who are experts in healthcare, system and process engineering, technoglogy, interfaces, and project management. These experts will work with your hospital to establish efficiency and continuous improvement as the operational mission of your hospital:

  • Identify a system aim and align to organizational priorities during leadership boot camps
  • Establish a performance scorecard, connecting strategic priorities to frontline activities (measured by lagging outcomes and leading indicators)
  • Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support throughput milestones using current-to-future state value stream mapping 

Implementation Highlights:

Project charter: Before kicking off the project, Care Logistics works with the client to complete a project charter with scope and resources clearly outlined. We fulfill jointly created project goals while communicating clearly and consistently.

Implementation Strategy: Several design processes run in parallel to maximize the timeline while minimizing the load on client staff. We work with you to analyze and map where you are now, and where you want to be in the future. We also clearly define expectations for interfaces, training and hardware. We outline client involvement and clearly communicate client responsibilities throughout the implementation.

Education: We train your trainers to ensure that you sustain successful, continuous process improvements.

On Path™ Review: We perform a review every six months after the system is live, working with you to ensure that your hospital is meeting its transformation goals. Together we adjust reports and dashboards as necessary to optimize operations.
