Leadership Spotlight: Eric White, Director of Systems Architecture

At Care Logistics, where operational performance and efficiency are at the heart of everything we do, Eric White plays a pivotal role behind the scenes. As Director of Systems Architecture, Eric ensures that the technologies powering our solutions are not only secure and scalable but also future-ready.

Eric’s day-to-day work is a dynamic blend of collaboration and innovation. He partners closely with Software Development to validate every intersection between software and infrastructure, while supporting Client Services with architectural frameworks that keep our platforms running smoothly.
Most recently, Eric has been leading the transition of our data services into Snowflake’s data platform—leveraging its scalability, security, and advanced analytics to elevate our capabilities. Beyond that, he’s designing secure and scalable infrastructure that integrates with customers’ EMRs and houses critical operational and sensitive healthcare data. His systems support real-time decision-making and lay the groundwork for agentic AI in our products.

His journey into systems architecture began with a knack for filling gaps in Product Engineering. From managing data center servers to overseeing software change management and version control, Eric cultivated a broad skillset that naturally led him to systems architecture. What keeps him inspired is the constant evolution of technology—especially the potential of integrating large language models and generative AI into engineering workflows and product development.

Eric’s architectural thinking is deeply strategic. He keeps a pulse on industry trends and actively networks at events like AWS re:Invent to explore new ways to enhance performance and security. When Care Logistics needed to expand its data warehouse, Eric conducted extensive research, attended conferences, and ultimately recommended Snowflake after gaining insights from peers and experts at a Snowflake event in Atlanta.

As a leader, Eric is a translator of complexity. He bridges departments with vastly different technical vocabularies, fostering understanding and consensus through a collaborative approach. “The devil is always in the details,” he says, emphasizing the importance of iteration and teamwork in solving technical challenges.

Mentorship is another area where Eric shines. He’s proud to have guided two talented engineers who were promoted from within the company. He looks for individuals who are curious, quick learners, and adaptable—qualities essential in the fast-paced world of systems and cloud engineering.

Outside of work, Eric’s interests are as eclectic as his skillset. He’s diving into the world of reef tank aquariums and has a quirky passion for collecting musical instruments—many of which he admits he can’t play. From saxophones and harmonicas to a nose whistle and pan flute, his collection is a testament to his playful curiosity. He also cherishes family travel and has fond memories of backpacking the Georgia section of the Appalachian Trail.

Eric White’s leadership is a blend of technical excellence, thoughtful collaboration, and a genuine passion for learning—qualities that make him an invaluable part of the Care Logistics team.
